Ipswich West’s infrastructure needs have been consistently neglected under this LNP Government, and the Centenary Highway is no exception.
The Centenary is a vital access point for my residents in Yamanto and surrounds to access services in Springfield – including the new Mater Springfield Hospital, funded by Labor.
Significant funding was committed under Labor to progress the planning and future works for the Centenary Highway, but since 2024, this work has stalled.
That’s why I, alongside five of my Parliamentary colleagues representing communities along the Highway, have launched a petition calling on the Crisafulli Government to commit to a plan for the Centenary Highway.
We cannot afford to fall further behind in the growing western corridor.
