The Mt Crosby Interchange upgrade had a plan, committed funding and was moving forward.
A $277 million joint State and Federal funding commitment was in place to deliver this long-overdue upgrade and improve this critical connection for our growing community.
But the project has since stalled, with funding removed from the forward infrastructure program — putting the upgrade at risk and leaving our community facing even more delays.
That’s simply not good enough.
Ipswich West is one of the fastest-growing parts of Queensland. Our roads are already under pressure, and locals shouldn’t have to wait even longer for infrastructure that was planned and funded.
The plan was there. The funding was committed. It’s time to stop the delay and get on with the job.
