Wendy Bourne, State Member for Ipswich West, has called on the Queensland LNP Government to deliver long-promised infrastructure upgrades across Ipswich West in a recent social media video.
The video, which has attracted thousands of views and shares across multiple platforms, was filmed on location at the Mount Crosby Interchange, Bremer River Bridge, and Amberley Interchange. Funding for these upgrades was secured under previous State and Federal Labor governments.
The video concludes with a direct challenge to the Government to deliver.
The strong reaction to Ms Bourne’s video highlights the frustration felt in the community at the delay in these projects.
“We are the fastest growing region in Queensland, and residents rely on efficient transport links to access healthcare, education, and employment. Delays to these projects have left families facing ongoing congestion and longer travel times.”
Ms Bourne has urged the Government to direct the Department to deliver these projects.
“Ipswich West deserves better from this government”
